A motivated and driven student is the type of person who will go after these experiences. And that is precisely the type of candidate that many colleges look for today. By pushing yourself and adding skills to your resume, you will stand out. Not only are these opportunities fulfilling, but they also serve as a wonderful writing topic for supplemental essays.
